Interim Marketing Manager

Reporting to: Marketing Director

The Job Role Details:

We’re looking for an inspiring interim Marketing Manager to lead our team and ensure our marketing strategies are effective, engaging, and efficient.

Responsibilities include:

  • Steering the development of Greenwood’s marketing strategy and brand development
  • Compilation of Greenwood’s annual marketing plan and achievement of key targets
  • Managing internal communications including quarterly editions of G Talk, and monthly Company updates
  • Overseeing all client communications including our quarterly G club magazine, newsletter, emails, and surveys
  • Leading all social media activity – including Linked In, Facebook and Instagram
    Overseeing all content generation and planning – including blogs, case studies, social updates, press releases.
  • Overseeing Visual management of brand – photography, videography, corporate identity adherence
  • Building of Greenwood’s external profile – developing relationships with key media partners, networking, and public relations
  • Custodian of key communications assets such as Greenwood Specification, G Range communication, G Club client loyalty programme communications, brochures, and leaflets
  • Undertaking data management and cleansing for campaigns
    Event Management – including Greenwood client incentive trips, Open days, and networking events
  • Developing merchandise range – gifting, giveaways, sales promotion goods
  • Team management of direct reports and overseeing freelancers and agencies

You will have..

  • An understanding of how to develop marketing strategies to attract a target audience
  • Leadership skills – with an ability to lead by example and bring the best out of the team
  • A data-driven mentality, continually looking for opportunities to improve performance
  • Technology confidence in using CRM systems, broadcasting tools and analytics
  • Ability to influence, engage and persuade key decision makers
  • Driven to bring the Greenwood brand to life
  • Experience in all the key areas of marketing including content development, channel management, event organisation and digital
  • Connectedness and willing to network to keep abreast of latest topical events
  • Attention to detail and superb organisational and planning skills
  • An interest in sustainability
  • Line management experience
  • An interest in horticulture would be an advantage but is not essential

12-month contract

Starting Salary £40,000 per annum

Company bonus scheme upon completion of probation

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
