Bare Root Lifter
The unusually late 2016 Autumn finally has arrived with a few light frosts and a touch of rain.
All perfect for lifting Bare rooted hedging and natives. During early November, we took to the fields to record the new lifting system in action.
How it works
The John Deere tractor is being driven automatically by GPS and the auto-lifter lifts and shakes the plants gently removing all the soil, sifting through 2 layers of mesh to ensure complete removal. The plants are then collected and lifted by elevator, where the sole operator removes them and lies them on a pallet awaiting final grading and dispatch – Fascinating stuff!
